Executive Vice President –
Energy Division

Summary Description:

Responsible for the successful delivery and financial outcome of ET’s Energy Division

Market Description:

All areas of traditional and alternative energy including midstream oil and gas, renewable energy, natural gas, carbon capture and utilization, power generation, and others.

Reports To:

Chief Executive Officer

Direct Reports:

Energy Division Operations Manager, as well as Project Executives, Project Managers, Project Superintendents, and other project specific staff working on Energy projects

 

Major Areas of Responsibility:

    • Strategic planning, goal setting, and nationwide market expansion for ET’s Energy Division
    • Leading the business development efforts of the Energy Division and collaboratively working with Executive Vice Presidents in the Environmental and Industrial Divisions, when appropriate
    • Determining active and potential resource needs and allocation with Division Operations Manager
    • Represent ET at industry related events both locally and nationally
    • Identify, develop, and maintain strategic partnerships within the industry
    • Maintain current client relationships and establish new relationships to support market growth and diversity
    • Provide technical expertise to keep projects on budget and on schedule
    • For multiple projects or single high-volume project, assure proper project team, tools, and systems are in place to deliver project from concept to final completion
    • Ultimate responsibility for Client interface, and final earnings outcome for such projects
    • Responsible for overall Client agreement, including all necessary negotiation of terms and conditions, scope, budgets, schedules, and any changes, and modifications during the execution of the project
    • Assure a final, proper, and complete Client agreement is in place prior to the start of work, that provides Company compensation and protection in accordance with Company project authorization and standard forms of agreements
    • Responsible for the actions and work product of the project staff
    • Responsible to assure project staff has the training, knowledge, and overall capability in Company and discipline practices, standards, and systems to achieve a successful project
    • Assure project estimating, purchasing, and contracting is in place, on schedule, within budget, and in keeping with Company standards, including standard Company subcontracting/purchasing agreements
    • Assure project financial control and reporting is in place per Company standards, including: monthly IOR’s; monthly Owner invoices; Subcontractor invoices executed; Modification Letters submitted; Subcontractor Change Orders executed; etc.
    • Responsible for project risk management and the project final outcome, including client satisfaction and project earnings
