Organic Waste, the Natural Way

As society continues to discover and create different ways to help the environment, there is a process that gives back to the earth naturally. Anaerobic Digestion can be described in two words – Green Waste. This organic process consists of the break down of eco-friendly materials by microorganisms. This break down generates a gas, a mixture of carbon dioxide and methane, and can be used as a natural way to control waste and produce fuels. The recycled organic waste material is a combination of bioconversion feed stock and green waste. Because it is a natural procedure concerning natural products, Anaerobic Digestion is an efficient alternative to waste disposal.

The Davis Street Organics Processing and Transfer Facility is dedicated to the proper disposal and transfer of these organic materials. This facility receives 550 tons of natural waste per day and uses the latest technology to process and transfer these materials.
