More conversions to alternative fuels, reuse of heat recovered from processes, less use of water during manufacturing processes, reduction of food additives and preservatives.
Most challenging project:
Renovation of an 18,000-square-foot hot dog processing room within 28 days from shutdown to commissioning. Work included gutting the areas from slabs to ceilings, installing new mechanical, electrical, and plumbing utilities, and installation/commissioning of new processing equipment.
